Sorry for the lack of posts over this month, it's been a very busy and mostly internet-less time.

To make it up to you, the future uploads list looks like this:

J Dillanthology
Quiet Village's Silent Movie
Tyrannosaurus Rex's Unicorn
Alexander 'Skip' Spence's Oar
Brightblack Morning Light's S/T
and a collection of moondog songs, not sure if it has a title.

In the meantime, if you happen to be a fan of sound collages blended with elephant six pop, check out this old Music Tapes record.

The Best Party Ever

On a somewhat related note, I'm watching the Academy Awards and I just heard a Boy Least Likely To song (from The Best Party Ever) in a Coca Cola commercial.

Happy Valentine's Day!

For the occasion, I've created a Love sampler! It was hard to pick which Buddy Holly and The Magnetic Fields to include, but I managed 15 songs, cute songs, lovey songs, songs about the loss of love, and possibly a song to make love to.

Please Enjoy!

Has anyone gotten any interesting V-day gifts? Henry gave me a 45oz. bag of M&M's :)

As Kate mentioned before, I am currently without internet, and am updating in the parking of the student center at UK. Again, there seems to be a serious winter storm heading this way, and I doubt I will have internet for a few more weeks. While I'm unable to post albums, I suggest you check out the blogs on our blogroll.

Also, a bit of magical news, today the lineup for Bonnaroo 09 has been released.

I will for sure be there, and hope you can make it as well.

snow and ice

Sorry for the lack of posts. We've been having lovely winter weather here in Kentucky the past couple of days. Henry hasn't had internet the past week, and my power has been out the past two days. I'm borrowing from my brother at the moment. As soon as I think of something to upload I'll let ya know.

tyt.

P.S.
We take requests! Send! Send!

Dark Was The Night

Just for your information, this compilation including many of my favorite artists has leaked. However, I could not morally be okay with posting the album on the blog due to where the money is going to for albums purchased.

I can tell you though, that these songs are amazing, and as soon as this is available for purchase, I will be buying a copy of it. You can listen to one track from the album a day at the Dark Was The Night myspace. Also, you can check over at YouAintNoPicasso, a fellow lexingtonian's blog, for who the artist is each day.
